In an effort to aid your journey from A to B the newly merged Navman and Mios' first integrated satnav features 3D landmarks (pictured above). Initially there are over a thousand 3D buildings in cities all over Europe and the devices will offer content and services from Navman Connect and InstantFix II technology for satellite locks in as little as five seconds. The technology is likely to perform much quicker than computing intensive 'photo mapping' technology.
The new range is affordable, prices starting at £99.99 for the S30 3D (no Bluetooth, has UK maps and a smaller 3.5" display than the standard 4.3") up to the high-end S70 3D with European mapping for £149.99.
