Nokia has released a free new version of Maps to coincide with its launch of the touch N97, which includes 3D topography and landmarks for 216 cities, high-resolution satellite photos, updated pedestrian directions and improved turn-by-turn support.
The new Maps 3.0 Beta also allows you to plan a route online via Nokia's desktop Ovi service and then sync it immediately back to your phone. Users of the S60 FP2 can download the new Maps beta for free.
